One CompactLogix, one PanelView Plus, 14 screens, a few faceplates. SE quote is real money. ME still opens. Where is the line where ME becomes the wrong tool — tags, clients, or the day you want a browser?

ME is a terminal. SE is a system. One panel, one processor, 14 screens — ME is fine. Two clients, a historian, or a plant overlay, you already wanted SE. Don't pick SE to feel modern. Do pick it if the customer will add a second station next year.
