Who we are

TS Controls (“we”) is an industrial automation integrator and runs ts-controls.com. Questions about this policy go to sales@ts-controls.com or (864) 749-4360.

What we collect

• RFQs and RFIs. Your name, company, work email, phone number if you give it, the platform, the outage window, your message, and any file you attach. The request is emailed to our sales inbox and also saved in our own records (without the file) so it is not lost if an email bounces. To stop spam, we keep a scrambled form of your IP address for about an hour.
• Accounts. Your display name, email address, how you sign in (Google, X, or email and password), your plant or company if you add it, your questions and replies on The Floor, your points, and your giveaway entry with any note you add. Passwords are handled by Google’s sign-in service; we never see them.
• Company Store orders. Your name, email, shipping address, phone number, and what you ordered. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
• Visits. The pages you view, your device and browser, an approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived, for example from an ad. This comes from the analytics and advertising tools listed below.
• Your browser. Small entries in your browser’s storage keep your cart, remember that you are signed in, and hold a TikTok ad-click ID so a later order can be matched to the ad. The sign-in service keeps your session in the browser as well. The analytics and advertising tools set their own cookies.

How we use it

• To answer RFQs and RFIs and to quote and schedule work.
• To run accounts, The Floor, the leaderboard and the giveaway, including contacting the winner.
• To take payment for, ship and support Company Store orders.
• To see which pages and ads bring visitors and customers, and to improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and keep spam and duplicate accounts off The Floor and the leaderboard.

Who else handles it

We do not sell your personal information. These services handle it for us:

• Google Cloud: hosting, sign-in, the database behind accounts and The Floor, and the server code that runs checkout.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: visit statistics and ad conversions.
• TikTok and X: advertising pixels on the site. For store checkouts and orders we also send TikTok a hashed (scrambled) email and phone number, your IP address, browser details and any TikTok ad-click ID, so the order can be credited to the ad.
• Stripe: payments.
• Printful: prints and ships store items, so it receives your name, shipping address, email and phone number.
• FormSubmit: delivers RFQ forms, their attachments and store order notices to our email.
• Google and X sign-in: only if you choose Continue with Google or Continue with X.
• Google Fonts: the site’s typeface is loaded from Google.

On the site itself, your display name, your posts and replies, and your points are public. Your email and your plant or company are never shown. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Your choices

• Your browser can block or clear cookies and site storage. You can also limit ad personalization in your Google, TikTok and X ad settings.
• RFQs and the Company Store work without an account.
• Your display name and plant or company can be changed on your account page.
• To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, including your account and posts, email sales@ts-controls.com from the address you used. We will confirm it is you before we act.

How long we keep it

RFQs and RFIs, in email and in our records, for as long as they are useful to the work and our records. Accounts, posts and points until you ask us to delete them. Order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Account and forum data can be read only by our server, not from a browser, and we never store your password. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. The giveaway is open only to adults 18 and older. If you think a child has given us information, email sales@ts-controls.com and we will delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
