Legal: TS SlackerStack Portal privacy notice.
What TS SlackerStack Portal reads from QuickBooks, Facebook and Instagram, what it keeps, where and for how long, and how to have it deleted. Effective October 13, 2026.
What this covers
This notice covers TS SlackerStack Portal (“the app”), TS Controls’ internal desktop software. Only TS Controls staff use it, on TS Controls’ own PC, for TS Controls’ own books and social media. It explains what the app does with data from QuickBooks Online (Intuit) and from Facebook and Instagram (Meta). What the ts-controls.com website collects is in the website privacy policy.
QuickBooks
- When. Only after the account owner connects TS Controls’ own QuickBooks company, signing in on Intuit’s own page. The app reads while its QuickBooks screens are open.
- What it reads. Reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and receivables and payables aging) and lists (accounts, the company name, open invoices and open bills).
- Only reads. The app never creates or changes anything in QuickBooks and makes no payments. It doesn’t ask for Intuit’s payments or payroll permissions.
- What it keeps. QuickBooks figures stay in the app’s memory while its QuickBooks screens are open; they aren’t saved to files or sent to any other server. From each record the app keeps only the fields it shows: no tax IDs, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers or bank details. The QuickBooks sign-in is kept in the PC’s protected credential storage and the company ID in the app’s settings.
Facebook and Instagram
- When. Only after the account owner connects the TS Controls Facebook Page and its linked Instagram professional account, signing in on Facebook’s own page.
- What it does. It publishes the posts the account owner approved in the app, and reads back each post’s ID, link and status. It reads the Page’s and the Instagram account’s IDs and names to check that the connection still works. It doesn’t read comments, messages, followers or insights, and it doesn’t run ads.
- What it keeps. The Page sign-in token, in the PC’s protected credential storage; the Page’s and the Instagram account’s IDs and names, in the app’s settings; and for posts made through the app, the captions, each post’s status, the Facebook and Instagram post IDs and links, and the publishing log. The other sign-in tokens Facebook issues during sign-in are discarded.
Where it’s kept and who sees it
- Everything the app keeps stays on TS Controls’ own PC. Sign-in tokens are kept only in the PC’s protected credential storage, never in plain files.
- Only TS Controls staff who use the app can see it.
- TS Controls doesn’t sell this data or share it for advertising.
How long it’s kept
- QuickBooks. Figures only while the app’s QuickBooks screens are open. The sign-in and the company ID until QuickBooks is disconnected.
- Facebook and Instagram. The sign-in token and the Page and Instagram account details until they’re disconnected in the app. The post history and the publishing log until you ask us to delete them.
Removing access and deleting data
- QuickBooks. In TS SlackerStack Portal, go to Finance, then QuickBooks, open QuickBooks connection and choose Disconnect QuickBooks. That ends the connection at Intuit and deletes it from the PC. You can also disconnect the app in QuickBooks, under Settings, then Apps.
- Facebook and Instagram. See Facebook and Instagram data deletion.
- Ask us. To have TS Controls delete what the app keeps, send a request through our contact page. We’ll delete it from the TS Controls PC, including the app’s backup copies there, and confirm by email when it’s done.
Questions and changes
TS Controls may update this notice; the effective date at the top changes when it does. Questions go through our contact page. The software license covers the rest of the app’s use.
