PLC, HMI and robot program backup and version control
When a PLC or robot dies, the first question is "where's the latest program?" Too often the answer is a laptop that left with a contractor.
We back up every PLC, HMI and robot program in your plant on a schedule, tell you what changed and who changed it, and keep a restore-ready copy that you own.
Send an RFQ · Office: (877) 524-6674 · Line down? (877) 790-4697, 24/7, subject to personnel availability
What you get
- Scheduled backups of PLC, HMI and robot programs (versiondog / octoplant or equivalent)
- A change report: what changed, who changed it, and when
- A restore-ready archive that belongs to the plant
- Optional on-site checks, including a restore test, so you know the backup actually works
Platforms
Siemens (Step 7, TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000, RSLogix), and KUKA, FANUC and ABB robots.
Why it matters on a line-down
A current backup is often the difference between a short stop and a long one. If you ever call our 24/7 line (subject to personnel availability), the first thing we need is the last good program.

Straight answers
Questions we get.
Who owns the backups?
You do. The archive is yours, whether or not you keep working with us.
Does this slow down our controllers?
Backups run in the background on a schedule you agree to.
What software do you use?
We work with versiondog and octoplant, or an equivalent that fits your plant.
How do we start?
Tell us roughly how many PLCs, HMIs and robots you have. We will tell you what coverage looks like.
