GSDML version on an ET200SP doesn't match TIA — update the file or the module?
The question
New IM. TIA says the GSDML is older than the device. Device is newer than the catalog. I can install a GSDML from Support, or I can roll the firmware back. Which one has bitten you less on a running line?

Install the matching GSDML, compile hardware, then download HW. Rolling firmware on a module that is already addressed is how you lose the name. Take a backup first. If the catalog still fights you, the Support package for that TIA version is the missing piece, not a random GSDML from a USB.
